We Went To The Mountain!

If you don't scale the mountain, you can't view the plain. ~ Chinese Proverb

We climbed the Stone Mountain today, with a group of friends.  It was great fun.  My lungs burned so bad on the way up, and my legs burned on the way down.  I had a blast.  No pictures on the way up, but lots at the top and on the way down.

She was tired, and the rock was warm.

When we made it down the mountain, we had a picnic, with much laughter.

Finally, the guys played flag football, and the ladies sat and talked, while the kids went off with one of the adults to ride the train.   All in all, it was a great day.  We didn't stay for the laser show (though I really wanted to) because it was absolutely too cold.  The babies couldn't deal with it, and the adults weren't dealing too much better.  Oh well.  There's always next time.
